Fair Share Publishing was brought to life by Nathan Bond, a painter, illustrator, and former faculty member at Parsons School of Design. With 16 years of teaching experience and a rich history of working alongside fellow faculty and friends in the children's picture book industry, as well as mentoring many students who have gone on to work in the industry, Nathan's vision for Fair Share Publishing was clear. He sought to create a platform that not only showcases the beauty and depth of children's literature but also supports the creative force behind it. His dedication to art, education, and equitable opportunities in publishing has shaped our mission to ensure that every story told is a step towards a more accessible, just, equitable, diverse and inclusive world.
