Merry Lorenz has embraced writing as her true passion for several years. It began with heartfelt but fun poetry she'd leave as uplifting messages for her coworkers during holidays. Not long after she found that they would seek her out for something "special" just for them. This feeling of being able to brighten someone's day with her writing led her to explore everything from poetry accompanied by pictures and drawings like personal greeting cards to invitations and quirky performances at her work and special events.

Writing from the heart has always been Merry's approach, capturing the emotions and essence of those she writes for. Her memoir, "The Ink Pen," beautifully reflects her relationship with her estranged father in a little book about a BIG love. The Ink Pen intended for her father was actually meant for Merry's hand.

In her classic children's book, "Munchpie Morgan," Merry delves into the whimsical world of children's storytelling, inspired by a treasured moment with her granddaughter, Morgan. This real-life experience of pretending and imagination transformed a potentially dull car ride into hours of pure joy. Munchpie Morgan helps children realize that "you are what you eat" through playful themes and food-inspired idioms. Munchpie sparks the imagination of both children and adults alike.

With a heart full of love and a pen full of creativity, Merry aims to share the boundless fun and imaginative wonders of Munchpie Morgan with the world. Her writing, a blend of emotion and pragmatic creativity, touches the lives of all those who read her work, spreading smiles and inspiration along the way.
