Bece Luna is an illustrator and art educator from São Paulo, Brazil, whose warm, sun-drenched artwork has a way of making readers feel like they’ve stepped into a memory they didn’t know they had.

Fascinated by storytelling from an early age, she could usually be found filling notebook margins with characters, or completely absorbed in the cartoons that would eventually shape her career. She studied Visual Arts at the University of Campinas and works primarily through digital painting, drawing inspiration from her hometown, the nostalgic textures of childhood, and the unlikely heroes of her favorite films.

The Calm Inside is her debut picture book with Fair Share Publishing.
