Draw Your Alien. Join the Universe.
Somewhere out there, aliens have gotten their hands on Mike Mongo's KID Astronaut Training Manual ~ and they are not okay about it.
We asked some amazing artists to imagine what an alien might look like reading the book. Now we want to see yours.
What's the mission?
Draw your own alien reading Mike Mongo's KID Astronaut Training Manual (or your other favorite book). Your alien can look however you imagine; any planet, any number of eyes, any number of hands ~or whatever they use instead. The only rule is they have to be reading the book.
Submit your drawing to be added to our ongoing online gallery, and you'll automatically be entered to win some pretty great prizes.
Ages 6–12. No purchase necessary.
What will your alien look like? Where is your aliens favorite place to read?
The Gallery
Every alien reading submitted goes into our online gallery — a growing collection of kid-made space art from across Earth. The gallery is ongoing, so even after the contest closes in April, you can keep adding your aliens to the universe. You can submit up to 5 aliens to the gallery total, but only your first submission is eligible for the monthly prize drawing.
The gallery goes live March 30.
How to Submit your art
Ask a parent or guardian before you fill anything out.
We only collect your first name and email address. No last names, ever.
One entry per person is eligible for the contest. Up to 5 drawings per person can go in the gallery.
Your art may be shared on Fair Share Publishing's social media and website. We'll only ever use your first name.
